HAVE A GOOD WISH

“May your desires be fulfilled at Chulatreekoon (Sangam)” the prayers of female character “Dararaipilas”, a woman who fears and hates beauty more than anything while she believes that her mother was sacrificed and thrown into Chulatreekoon River because of her beauty and be imputed in various ways. From the outline of the story that was conveyed in the land of Bharata (India) consisting of colors, costumes and unique arts. Although Dararaipilas hates beauty but she also looks pretty and wearing an exquisite clothing than anyone else because she was a daughter of King Kashi region.

From the inspiration of Beauty brought to the terrified, Kloset brings the beauty of Dararaipilas represents in the colorful and cheerful like a young girl. The colorful costumes including soft pink, blue, bright yellow and natural color like beige which really suitable for the summer. Flower’s artwork came from the Art pattern from Mughal dynasty such as Taj Mahal was reduced into Printed fabrics which imitate from Indian textile. Continuing to the embroidery which made on natural Linen and Denim (jeans) in contrast way by using classic checkered. The Arches and Window in the Mughal Era’s architecture has conveyed and develop into the embroidery pattern on cotton which became one of the unique techniques by Kloset. Cross-stitches in monotone has developed from small decorating pieces of tiles until creating a pattern. Another popular thing was “Hibiscus Flower” which Indian usually used to pray for gods has conveyed into the structure and embroidered on Linen which reminiscent the Indian Textiles. Besides, we interpret “Flashing Star” pattern from the name of main actress “Dararaipilas” and the twinkling of stars, so we have chosen some sparkles fabrics such as Sequin, stretch fabrics mixed with silver Tencel. And there is also hand-knitting of Hibiscus flower which one of the highlight materials in this collection. And with the beauty that has been with Dararaipilas since her birth will lead to a new form of beauty for Kloset in the collection called “Have a Good Wish”.

“ขอให้สมใจในปรารถณา ณ จุฬาตรีคูณเจ้าเอย” คำอ้อนวอนของตัวละครสาว “ดารารายพิลาศ” หญิงสาวผู้เกลียดและกลัวความงามยิ่งกว่าสิ่งใด เพราะมีเชื่อว่าสาเหตุที่พระมารดาของตนถูกสังเวยโยนลงแม่น้ำจุฬาตรีคูณ เหตุเกิดเพราะความงามที่ทำให้นางถูกใส่ร้ายต่าง ๆ นานา จากเค้าโครงเรื่องราวที่ถูกถ่ายทอดบนดินแดนภารตะ ที่เต็มไปด้วยสีสัน เครื่องแต่งกายและศิลปะที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์สวยงามเฉพาะตัว ถึงแม้ว่าตัวดาราพิลาสเอง จะเกลียดและกลัวความงามเพียงใด แต่ตัวนางเองก็มีรูปโฉมที่สวยงาม และได้สวมเครื่องแต่งกายที่สวยและวิจิตรกว่าใคร ด้วยความที่เป็นลูกกษัตริย์แห่งแคว้นกาสี

แรงบันดาลใจจากความงามที่นำมาสู่ความหวาดกลัว Kloset จึงหยิบนำเอาความงามของดารารายพิลาสมานำเสนอเป็นคอลเล็กชั่นที่สดใสดั่งสาวแรกรุ่น เสื้อผ้าที่มีสีสันที่สดใส ประกอบไปด้วย สีชมพูอ่อน สีฟ้า สีเหลืองสด และสีธรรมชาติจากเส้นด้ายคือสีเบจ ซึ่งเหมาะกับซีซั่นซัมเมอร์เป็นอย่างมาก ลายดอกไม้ที่ได้มาจากรูปแบบการจัดวางของศิลปะสมัยโมกุลที่โดดเด่นเฉพาะตัว ตัวอย่างเช่นผลงานใน ทัชมาฮาล ถูกตัดทอนมาเป็นลายผ้าพิมพ์ที่เลียนแบบการทำผ้าพิมพ์แบบอินเดีย ต่อยอดไปสู่งานปัก ที่ปักลงบนผ้าลินินธรรมชาติ และบนผ้ายีนส์ที่มีความแตกต่าง ด้วยลายตารางสุดคลาสสิก ซุ้มประตูและช่องหน้าตาตามสถาปัตยกรรมในยุคโมกุล สิ่งเหล่านี้ถูกตัดทอนและพัฒนามาเป็นลายลายปักบนผ้าคอตต้อน เกิดเป็นลวดลายเฉพาะที่ Kloset ทำขึ้น ลายปักคอสติสสีโมโนโทนได้รับการพัฒนามาจากการประดับกระเบื้องชิ้นเล็กๆจนเกิดเป็นลวดลายตามแบบฉบับของศิลปะโมกุล อีกหนึ่งอย่างที่เป็นที่นิยมเป็นอย่างมากนั่นคือดอกชบาที่คนในอินเดียมักนำมาถวายเทพเจ้าเพื่อเป็นการบูชา ถูกนำมาตัดทอนให้เหลือเพียงลายปักเส้นเป็นโครงสร้าง และถูกปักลงบนผ้าลินิน ที่ชวนให้นึกถึงผ้าท้องถิ่นของอินเดีย นอกจากนี้ยังตีความ “ลายดาวประกาย” หรือตีความจากชื่อของนางเอกคือ “ดารารายพิลาส” และด้วยความระยิบระยับของดวงดาวน้อยใหญ่ เราจึงได้เลือกใช้ผ้าบางส่วนที่มีความระยิบระยับ อาทิเช่น ผ้าเลื่อม ผ้ายืดที่ทอดิ้นเงินผสมเข้าไป และยังมีงานถักมือเป็นดอกชบา ซึ่งเป็นอีกหนึ่งไฮไลท์ของคอลเล็กชั่นนี้ และด้วยความงามที่ติดตัวตั้งแต่กำเนิดของดารารายพิลาส จะนำพาสู่ความงามในรูปแบบใหม่ของ Kloset ในคอลเล็กชั่นที่มีชื่อว่า “Have a good wish”
